Our Amazing Team

We are fully committed to the development and well being of every goalie we teach and coach. We strive to see each of our clients work hard, reach their goals, and always retain and maintain their love for the game of hockey. Through our years and years of experience teaching and coaching, the one thing we have all noticed along the way is that those who most often excel and become the greatest of athletes, and the very best at what they do, love what they do.

Our team of instructors is hand-picked by Damian in order to ensure a positive and challenging experience for our student goalies. Our instructors and shooters come from strong player backgrounds and bring their own skills and experiences to the program.

Our Promise to You

We promise to always do our very best to provide our students with valuable and outstanding goaltending training, regardless of your lifestyle need, or style of learning.

We here at All Pro Goalie Schools believe that the very best teachers also tend to be the very best listeners, and that is why we make the time to answer any and all questions our students have.

We want our goalies to learn and be successful athletes, but we also hope they grow to be strong, focused individuals. We will always strive to encourage our goalies by helping them find confidence in themselves and their own abilities. Here is more about us…

Damian Rhodes

Head of Goalie Development

Damian Rhodes has been playing goal for over 30 years and has had an amazing career,

he has played in the NCAA, AHL, ECHL, as well as 12 years in the NHL. In 1988 while playing

for the Michigan Tech University Huskies (NCAA) where he was averaging 34 saves a game, he also played for Team USA (U-20) in the World Junior Cup held in Moscow.

Damian also spent 3 years playing in the AHL for the Newmarket Saints and the St. John’s Maple Leafs. In 1987 Damian was drafted by the Toronto Maple Leafs and played his very first game in the NHL against the Detroit Red Wings where he stopped 25 of the 26 shots, helping the Leafs to a 3-1 win. Damian went on to play a total of 47 games with the Leafs as the back up goalie for Felix Potvin.

In 1996 Damian was traded to the Ottawa Senators where he proved to be a very valuable asset, especially during the 1997-98 play-offs where he helped the Senators win their very first ever playoff series which was against Martin Brodeur and the New Jersey Devils.

In 1999 while Damian was still playing for the Senators he once again made hockey history by being the first goaltender to ever record a goal and a shutout in the same game. Later that same year Damian once again played for Team USA in the World Cup Championships and was also the very first player to be signed on with the Atlanta Thrashers expansion team. Damian helped the team record their very first win with a 2-0 shutout, and went on to play a total of 81 games with the Thrashers until his retirement from the NHL in 2002

Upon Damian’s retirement from the NHL he decided he would play one more year and spent the 2002-03 season playing in the ECHL, that same year he also shared goaltending duties with Ryan Miller for Team USA in the World Cup Championship.

Since the inception of All-Pro Goalie Schools, Damian has been teaching and instructing goalie camps all over North America coaching goaltenders with a kinetic approach to teaching, emphasizing injury prevention.
